Stephen Andrew Xi (April 9, 1997 - July 6. 2106) was an American lawyer and politician who served as the 51st President of the United States from 2060 until 2068. The first Asian-American to be elected president of the United States, he previously served as a U.S. Senator from Oregon from 2048 until 2060, Governor of Oregon from 2036 until 2044, and a member of the Oregon State Senate from 2028 until 2036.
Xi was born in Springfield, Oregon on April 9, 1997. His father was a successful banker, and his mother was a historian and political activist. In 2016, Xi enrolled in Yale University, which he graduated from in 2020. The following year, he enrolled in Harvard Law School, which he attended for three years before graduating in 2024. Following graduation, Xi opened his own law practice, which quickly became successful.
In 2028, Xi entered politics, being elected to the Oregon State Senate, which he served in for eight years before being elected Governor of Oregon in 2036. During his time as Governor of Oregon, he passed many progressive reforms, which included making public college tuition-free in the state and raising the state minimum wage to $20 an hour, which at the time was the highest state minimum wage in the country.
In 2060, Xi launched a presidential bid. With relatively little competition, he captured the Socialist nomination with relative ease. His populist platform won the support of many unlikely voters, and many supporters of Alessandra Mandrini flocked to his base after Vice President Farouk D'Aubelijin decided against a presidential run. In a major upset, he decisively defeated his competition, being elected 51st President of the United States. During Xi's first term, he passed many progressive reforms and important legislation, signing the Free College Act, the $20 An Hour Act,
